Feeding Your Brain

By Chris Prefontaine
We know how important proper eating habits and nutrition are for our physical health. Come to this workshop to learn how nutrition affects the health of one of our most vital organs, the brain. Registered dietitian Christina Iaboni will discuss the nutrients that promote optimal brain health and how they impact our overall mental health and well-being. She will provide practical tips on how to incorporate them into our diets.
Christina will review diet/lifestyle strategies that have been shown to help prevent/reduce the risk of dementia and discuss food and the social connections in relation to aging. There will be handouts containing tips and recipes. RTO members are welcome to bring friends.
